    HISTORY: Gwen comes into the world of Torchwood after seeing Jack and the others over the body of a dead man . She was recuited into the team after the death of Suzie Costello since she did try to kill Jack. Gwen also knows that he can not die. She had a short lived romance with Owen Harper during a trying period but has somehow gotten past that with time. After Jack is killed in the season one finale it is her kiss that brings him back to life 3 days later.

    Season 2 highlights in order to avoid spoilers: she took control of the team during the period Jack was with The Doctor and Martha (year that never was storyline from DW). She finally comes clean about the team to Rhys and is married during "Someting Borrowed" and was also with kid via shapeshifter. She also learned about what happened to people that are spit out of the rift during "Adrift" and during "Exit Wounds" lost two close friends (Tosh and Owen). Following from this, Gwen alongside Jack and Ianto in its 2008 series' two-part finale assist where Torchwood is called on to help contact series protagonist the Doctor (David Tennant) during a Dalek invasion. She and Ianto also help pull the earth home with help of SJA lead Luke Smith. A familial connection between Gwen and the character of Gwyneth (also played by Eve Myles) in the 2005 Doctor Who episode "The Unquiet Dead" is alluded to by the Doctor, after he and Rose Tyler recognize the physical similarity between the two.

    Her entry point is up in the air pending being able to talk to other muns of Torchwood characters to keep Gwen on the same page canon wise.

    PERSONALITY: Gwen is your classic girl next door and has been called Torchwood's heart. She has been known to let cases hit a little too close to home and is always trying to understand the why. Gwen is also trying to keep her personal life and life within Torchwood balanced, thankfully Rhys does know which does help. She is also ambitious and rather feisty and has been described by Owen Harper as "socially responsible and empathetic" and possessing a lot of "unfulfilled potential".

    No sign of Rhys.

    This place is stranger by the second even without a local version of the Rift or even Weevils.

    At least work is a stab at a semi normal life, being a liasion is a good thing since I'm feeling useful again.

    Still too much of a mental and physical mess to really do much for the moment, but I did get talked out of not sleeping at the station. Staying with Jack and Ianto for the time being and I have house listings at the station now.

    But the dreams and escaping the suite are still there.

    Only going back to get the rest of my things, sooner I'm totally out the better.

    Had another Weevil sighting last night but no need for RetCon, they honestly through it was a larger than usual dog.

    To be honest maybe we should consider setting up shop again? I know the Rift is not a factor but the Weevils showing up is making me doubt that hunch.

    Actually since I've been thinking about this: a place we can call ours?

    This is just so the 5 of us can trade hunches and ideas with some safety.

    As for me I'm going to stay at the TARDIS for the time being, with the recent weirdness (Martha can fill Jack and Ianto in) the sooner I was out of the apartments the better. Plus add in Dr.Crane and I just knew splitting was the best option. Toss in nightmares and well I'm just trying to stay above water right now.

    But I think we can yank the Daleks and Cybermen from the suspects list, no sign of Hart so for now he's off the list.

    Besides the 5 of us are there others from our little world here?

    I start with the police on Monday so this is one step towards reclaiming myself. So who around here is police or anything dealing with the law? Just would like to meet people and show I'm only here to help.

    I took a step to getting myself back, I am taking the position as liasion to the local police. Can't join the force due to being from Wales but this job is close to what I was doing back in Cardiff so its a start.

    So due to recent events I'm looking into getting a neighborhood watch started within the buildings so before I say anything would people even be interested?
